OAN Nursery

Oshwal Academy Nairobi Nursery Campus formerly Visa Oshwal Nursery was established in 1950 and
is run by the Visa Oshwal Community.  The school was voted as “Nursery School of the Year 2003” by
Safe Steps Magazine. The school provides opportunities for each child to learn individually and
independently through exploration and active involvement with his or her environment.  Teaching
methods are child centered and essentially practical, based on the normal experience of the child’s life.
The teacher identifies the child’s development stage and provides activities and learning experiences
which fit that level.  Thus the child is taught how to think and not what to think.
